Every seam has a past. This one has two.
The Flatbush Archive Trucker is built from three generations of denim — dark indigo Levi's, a medium-wash Lee field jacket, and charcoal selvedge salvaged from a single Brooklyn estate lot. The classic trucker silhouette is honored, then complicated: chest patch pockets stay structural, contrast topstitching traces the ghost lines of previous garments, and raw-frayed hem accents mark the exact points where one life ended and this one began. Tonal denim-on-denim layering reads as a single jacket at distance and as an archive at close range. Reconstructed entirely by hand in Mode Mercier's Gowanus atelier. One exists.
