Sun-drenched chiffon reinterpreted for the present tense.
The Poolside Archive Halter Maxi traces its lineage to a 1970s resort reference Margot sourced from a Los Angeles estate sale — a halter silhouette in burnt tangerine that had spent decades folded in tissue. Our version is not that dress. The gathered halter neckline and open back remain, as does the billowing A-line volume, but the high-low chiffon hem is entirely new — a decision made in draping, not in translation. Two layers of tangerine-blaze georgette shift through amber in direct light, making the skirt behave differently at noon than at dusk. The waist gathers are hand-finished. This is vacation as considered as any other part of your wardrobe.
